Easy and Moist Nutella Bread

Posted by

Okay, I'm not getting fat alone. This recipe is just too good not to share. I have been wanting Nutella bread forever and all the recipes on Pinterest are *super* complicated and ain't nobody got time for that. At least I don't. Plus, when I get a sugar craving, I need to fulfill it stat or else I just end up eating way more than if I had just fulfilled the original craving. Long story short, here is how to make this incredibly easy and moist Nutella cake.

  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup Nutella

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Butter an 8x4 inch loaf pan, line the bottom and two sides of the pan with the parchment paper, or spray pan with canola oil and then sprinkle it with flour.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together butter, 1 cup sugar and eggs.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir in the egg mixture alternately with milk.
  5. Pour this mixture into your prepared pan.
  6. In the same bowl where you mixed together all the ingredients, add in the 1/4 cup of Nutella and a dash of milk, whisk together until the Nutella is light and liquidy.
  7. Pour Nutella mixture into batter in the pan. Pour it all in as a swirl so you can get it all over the batter. Next, take a mixing spoon and lightly start to fold over the Nutella mixture in the batter.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for about 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Make sure that you place it in the center of the oven so it doesn't burn on the top before the center cooks. If the cake is still not cooked, reduce the heat to 200 and cook for another 15 minutes. Cool bread in pan for 40 minutes on a wire rack.

*Notes- If your cake is taking a long time to bake, reduce the heat to 200 and let it bake for another 15 minutes. Note that you may stab it with a knife and find its still raw, but that could also be the Nutella mixture which stays gooey.
